Mixed Vegetable Bhaji Recipe. A Fantastic Side Dish.

Mixed Vegetable Bhaji

Our mixed vegetable bhaji recipe is provided is included in our favourites book or as a recipe card. A spice pack is available as well.

This is a fantastic side dish to go with any curry and rice dish.
Remember, this dish’s recipe is an actual BIR/takeaway recipe, not a BIR/restaurant-style recipe or home-cooked style.

Ingredients:  

2 teaspoons of ghee
2 tablespoons of onion/capsicum mix
½ teaspoon of mixed powder
1 tablespoon of base tomato
150ml of base gravy
150g of base vegetables
1 teaspoon of kasuri methi
¼ of a medium tomato, chopped
2 tablespoons of fresh coriander, chopped          

Method:

  1. Add the ghee to a frying pan and preheat to a medium heat.
  2. Add the onion/capsicum mix, mixed powder, base tomato, 60ml of base gravy, and stir well.
  3. Add the vegetables and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring regularly.  
  4. Add the kasuri methi, tomato, coriander, remaining base gravy, and stir.
  5. Leave to cook for a further 2 to 3 minutes. Stir and serve.
