A biryani vegetable curry to go with the biryani dish.
Ingredients:
2 teaspoons of ghee
1 teaspoon of base tomato
1 teaspoon of mixed powder (recipe in our favourites book)
¼ teaspoon of chilli powder
150ml of base gravy (recipe in our favourites book)
150g of base vegetables (recipe in our favourites book)
2 tablespoons of fresh coriander, chopped
Method:
- Place a frying pan on a medium heat.
- Add the ghee, base tomato, mixed powder, and chilli powder. Stir and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add the base vegetables and 75ml of base gravy. Stir and allow to cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the coriander and remaining base gravy. Stir and allow to cook for a further 2 minutes.
- Stir and serve garnished with a few coriander leaves.
